This week we are giving you an exclusive sneak peek at the inspiration and craftsmanship behind our signature Lily Swimsuit.
Lily was Sophie's first ever swimwear design - originally conceived as a gift for a friend two years ago. She wanted to design a swimsuit supportive enough to sculpt your figure and elegant enough that it could be worn from beach to bar. The decorative beaded pattern was designed to hang as a gorgeous, colourful necklace so you wouldn't need any additional jewellery.
The incredibly intricate beading for one of our Lily swimsuits takes one craftsman three whole days to complete - making your piece a true work of art.
The bright colours and traditional Indian patterns that you can see on Lily's hand-beaded neckline were inspired by the beautiful sarees of Bombay's women.
Lily features Sassi's signature square neckline, which is not only the perfect shape to show off the beautiful beading, but also gives you an incredibly flattering fit. Our square neckline flows over your shoulders into a graceful, low square back.
This stylised cut coupled with our superior Italian fabric allows you to adjust the neckline to expose as much or as little of your back or chest as you prefer.
